     For this project, the film will be divided in black and white photos and colored photos and this will show the distinction of the time traveled person. This film also includes meanwhile and therefore. There will also be some foreshadowing. For composition, I will utilize the rule of thirds and some diagonally compositions to make my images interesting. For now, I have created a basic outline of the film's story line. I will then write a creative story that will be used to narrate this film. During the scenes with no narration, there will be music. This story will include quotes from the Einsteins' dreams stories and this Einstein quote, "A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts, and his feelings as something separate from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of consciousness." Below is the basic outline for this film (Phoenix is my little brother's name):


  • ·         Phoenix is happy at home has favorite stuffed animal (this world is black and white)
  • ·         Parents want to go for walk at tunnel drive and talk a family picture
  • ·         Walk through tunnel phoenix sees a crystal
  • ·         Picks up crystal and is transported through time
  • ·         All the world turns to color and he’s amazed and happy
  • ·         Meanwhile, the parents are back and panicking because their son is missing
  • ·         Phoenix is exploring the world and looking at beautiful things
  • ·         Since it has been days since phoenix disappeared, the parents host a memorial service (therefore)
  • ·         As minutes pass in the world full of color where phoenix is, years pass in the original black and white world
  • ·         The narration will start explaining how time seems to stand still for beauty and how slow time seems to pass in sadness.
  • ·         The parents age about 20 years
  • ·         On the 20th anniversary of his disappearance, the parents got back to tunnel drive to sit and reminisce
  • ·         Phoenix hen picks up the crystal again (it’s almost sunset where he is) and he’s transported back to the exact spot he left from.
  • ·         The parents see him the exact same age as when he disappeared.
  • ·         Phoenix is standing right next to the memorial stand at tunnel drive (which has been aged a bit since the service)
  • ·         Phoenix seems happy then confused when his parents start yelling for him because he doesn’t recognize him
  • ·         Then the parents run up to him and he’s scared and confused
  • ·         They take out a picture of them all together from 20 years ago
  • ·         The mom then takes his favorite toy out of her purse
  • ·         They hug him tight but he still looks confused and scared

I'm looking for the King or Queen of the silver screen. (Failing that someone who can walk about ten feet without tripping over.) It's for the single shot piece that I'd like to make at the University campus library or Rawlings library on the south side of town. You can choose. All I want to do is record you asking for the film section, then picking out a book entitled 'How to film a single take short film.' and check it out as the camera follows you from around the other side of the book shelf & that is it. There's no cash being offered, but the Oscars are calling your name. Loop - A finished film ready for viewing.

Loosely based on my original idea submission this film has been made to include a predetermined number of scenes that have to be exactly 12, 6, 6, 3, 3, 3, 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3, 3, 3, 6, 6 & 12 seconds long and can be played in a seamless loop. It was recorded on a standard GoPro camera so the film quality is limited to standard definition. The music is a creative commons licensed piece by Blue Dot Sessions.
