Walking in the Steps of Giants. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4U3RL1L0VQ Not the wildest travelogue video, but I had just watched the 2013 film 'All is Lost' with Robert Redford that has only one actor who has (combined with a short radio broadcast) a total of 51 spoken words throughout the entire 1h46min film.

I need an actor!

I'm looking for the King or Queen of the silver screen. (Failing that someone who can walk about ten feet without tripping over.) It's for the single shot piece that I'd like to make at the University campus library or Rawlings library on the south side of town. You can choose. All I want to do is record you asking for the film section, then picking out a book entitled 'How to film a single take short film.' and check it out as the camera follows you from around the other side of the book shelf & that is it. There's no cash being offered, but the Oscars are calling your name. However in exchange for your time I can volunteer mine, if you need a spare pair of hands in front of or behind the camera, or are stuck for ideas for your film (I've got a bunch bubbling away in the back of my mind) I'm willing to help you out.

Loosely based on my original idea submission this film has been made to include a predetermined number of scenes that have to be exactly 12, 6, 6, 3, 3, 3, 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3, 3, 3, 6, 6 & 12 seconds long and can be played in a seamless loop. It was recorded on a standard GoPro camera so the film quality is limited to standard definition. The music is a creative commons licensed piece by Blue Dot Sessions.
