Traffic

IDEA #1

FIRST TWELVE SECONDS

Take the center median of a busy freeway with rush hour traffic 12 seconds facing northbound,

your car is in the fast lane advancing towards the camera

NEXT six second SCENE

Stay in the same location but pointing southbound and follow your car into the distance

NEXT six second SCENE

From the perspective of the driver

NEXT three second SCENE

From outside the passenger window at ninety degrees to the car trees tops, telephone poles or street lights whizz by one after another or down low to the road.

NEXT three second SCENE

move to oncoming traffic and a cyclist passing outside the car window

NEXT three second SCENE

Now you are watching the cyclist go

NEXT three second SCENE

from the cyclists perspective passing a pedestrian at a traffic light, zebra crossing.

NEXT one second SCENE

Pedestrian looks left

NEXT one second SCENE

camera looks in that direction

NEXT one second SCENE

pedestrian looks right

NEXT one second SCENE

camera pans right

NEXT one second SCENE

green man signals safe to cross

NEXT one second SCENE

watch the stripes as camera crosses the street looking down

and so on till you get to the longer LAST several SCENES

in which the pedestrian walks back to the location at the beginning, gets into the same car and starts the loop again.

IDEA #2

The game of pooh sticks follows sticks thrown into the river from a bridge allows the viewer to follow an adventure down stream of sticks going over river rocks, eddies spinning the branch over ripples, waves and then into the distance. (or if you remember the opening scene from IT you could use a paper boat floating down a gutter towards a storm drain (we have rain in the forecast tomorrow) Tumble weed goes on an adventure etc.

IDEA#3

A soccer game follows one player from a distance, a dribble shot, a ball moving (rolling) between the players legs, a tackle if you can get a second player, a ball flying through the air ( the ball is held and moved alongside a camera, a ball slams into the back of a net, crowd cheering or as many as you can get huddled in front of the camera and so on.
